About Frascole

With vineyards that have been passed down through the family for generations, Frascole sits on ancient Etruscan and Roman sites. The vineyards here are high-density with low yields, and all harvesting is conducted by hand.

A small, family-owned and operated farm that’s been practicing organic agriculture since 1998, Frascole is located in Tuscany, in the village of Dicomano. Sitting at the foothills of the Tuscan Appennines, just outside of Chianti Classico at the crossroads between the Sieve and Mugello valleys, Frascole has vineyards at great elevations, with 15ha of vineyards planted at 500m on the hill of Frascole, alongside 9ha of olive groves.

With vineyards that have been passed down through the family for generations, Frascole sits on ancient Etruscan and Roman sites. The vineyards here are high-density with low yields, and all harvesting is conducted by hand. Practicing old school blending techniques, Frascole includes 5% White Tribbiano and White Malvasia in their Bitornino, a Chianti DOCG wine
