These daytime temperatures, followed by cool nights, encourage intense flavor development which is the hallmark of Marlborough wine. Shelftalkers  Winery Website   Marisco YouTube Channel
fernlandsFernlands Sauvignon Blanc
From a vineyard owned by John Marris, the esteemed viticulturalist of Wither Hills fame, this is excellent value, textbook New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with plenty of zesty fruit and grassy aromas. Lots of lime and a nettly herbaceousness, this is an aromatic and classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with a refreshing, dry finish.
ned-sbThe Ned Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough
The quintessential Waihopai Sauvignon Blanc nose offers an exotic aroma of smashed, whole passionfruit and freshly squeezed limes, tinged with an edgy undercurrent of musky fragrance. Bold, vivid flavors that mirror the nose are given life and length by having juicy acidity and a signature seam of nervy minerality.

Base fruit notes of pear and stone fruit are further enhanced with the subtle perfume of white-petal florals and sweet baking spice. The Ned Pinot Gris offers a mouth filling richness with subtle tannin nuances from the increased skin contact. This texture enhances the wines overall drinkability, whilst promoting the spicier concentration of fruit flavors.

ned-pnThe Ned Pinot Noir, Marlborough
Rose and violet floral notes are complemented by black currant, plum and cherry. Supporting these attractive primary aromatics are signature Pinot leaf mulch savoury elements and oak derived spice with mocha characters. Concentrated flavours of dark berry fruits are underpinned by brambly, spicy notes. The palate is rich yet focused with generous fruit supported by a dense core of finely textured tannin. Whilst delicious on release, this wine will become more complex and expressive with careful cellaring over the next 5 -7 years.

A luxurious texture adds further decadence to a wine of true class.

A perfumed bouquet of citrus, ripe fig and melon. A hint of cashew with some subtle spicy oak adds further interest. Lovely fresh acidity on the finish keeps the wine focused and pure.
MV Sticky 2010 Front label.2 OLA Sticky End Noble Sauvignon Blanc
Concentrated flavours of manuka honey, ripe nectarine and apricot with layers of zesty citrus. Lusciously viscous, this Noble Sauvignon Blanc is sweet without being cloying thanks to a delicate thread of acidity which provides a refreshing twist to this mouth-watering wine.
