Winemaker: Cedric Gravier
Domaine La Sufrene is located in the southern French appellation of Bandol and consists of 42 hectares of vineyards, of which 30 hectares on one of the best terroirs in Bandol. Cedric Gravier inherited the vineyard from his grandfather in 1996, and instead of selling the grapes to the local cooperatives as before, he is producing the wine himself in a completely new way and with promising results. The planting consists of Clairette, Ugni Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc of white grapes and Mourvedre, Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan of the red grapes. This is a sexy wine with a great quality to price ratio.
