Willamette Valley, Oregon

Elixir wine group owner decided to take his love for cool climate Pinot Noir to the logical next step, making some right here in his home state of Oregon. Industry veteran Robert Brittan acts as the consulting winemaker, and everyone in the small company has lent a hand in this project, from the sorting table, to cellar work, to bottling. We’ve always preferred complexity and character over power, and the Willamette Valley vineyard sources we’re utilizing reflect that with each passing year. Shelftalker

Sourced from top vineyard sites in the Willamette Valley's Yamhill-Carlton and Ribbon Ridge AVA's. Clonal selection is Pommard, Dijon 115, Dijon 777, and Dijon 667. Named Erendira's Rise to commemorate the Pre-Columbian princess that overcame her fear of horses and rode in rebellion against the Spanish. After making Malbec in Argentina for more than a decade, but having built our business from Oregon, we thought it fitting that we finally try our hand with the challenging variety of Pinot Noir.
