|Vittoria Negroamaro del Salento
Of the inky wines of Salento, Negroamaro ranks the 6th most planted varietal and gives generous yields on the hot plains. Though traditionally known as a blending wine, when treated with respect, skilled craftsmanship and artistic sensitivity, this grape can make a distinctive wine full of elegance and grace.Vittoria is made from grapes from 25 year old vines. Harvested in late September, the grapes are macerated with skin contact for a few days to maximize color extraction and limit harsh tannins, followed by fermentation and refinement in stainless steel, at a controlled temperature, and two additional months in the bottle before release. This is an elegant wine that is dry and well balanced with rich fruit flavors and soft tannins. Vittoria pairs well with barbecued meats, game and mature cheeses. Serve at room temperature

This Primitivo wine is a beautiful deep ruby color, intense, with rich plummy aromas. It is dry, soft, and rich with excellent balance, medium body ripe fruit flavors and a long finish with soft tannins. A wonderful compliment when served with roasted red meats, wild game, and spicy cheeses. Serve at room temperature.
